Our Programmes
Care Solutions Designed Around People
Each of our programmes serves a different need, but all share the same foundation: attentive, respectful care delivered with warmth.
Back to HomeOur Approach to Care
At Stonehaven, we believe that the best care emerges when daily life is predictable but not rigid, when support is available but not imposed, and when staff truly know the people they are looking after.
Every programme begins with an understanding of the individual β their history, their habits, their preferences, and what makes them feel at ease. From there, we shape the care around the person, not the other way around.
Our three programmes address different needs: long-term residential living, short-term assessment for families still deciding, and regular social engagement for community-dwelling seniors. Each has its own structure, but all are guided by the same principles of dignity, attentiveness, and transparency.
Programme 1
Structured Residential Care
A full-time living programme that provides clear, dependable daily structure for seniors who feel most comfortable with routine and predictability. Each day follows a consistent schedule β morning care, breakfast, activity periods, lunch, rest, afternoon engagement, dinner, and evening wind-down β with enough flexibility to accommodate personal preferences.
Nursing staff handle all medical and personal care needs, and a resident coordinator serves as the family's single point of contact for questions and updates. The residence is designed for easy navigation: clear signage, open corridors, and distinct visual cues for different areas. Rooms are single-occupancy with ensuite facilities.
Programme 2
Assessment & Orientation Stay
A one- to two-week residential stay designed for seniors and families who wish to evaluate whether a particular care setting and programme are the right fit. During the stay, the resident experiences the full daily routine β meals, activities, medical support, and social life β while the care team observes and documents their needs, preferences, and comfort level.
At the conclusion, families receive a detailed assessment report with recommendations for care planning. This process allows informed decision-making at a considered pace, without any commitment beyond the stay itself.
Programme 3
Puzzle & Games Social Programme
A daytime programme held four mornings per week, centred on cognitive engagement through tabletop games, puzzles, and collaborative challenges. Activities include jigsaw puzzles, card games, word searches, Sudoku, mahjong, and cooperative board games.
The programme is structured in tiers β participants can choose activities matching their interest and cognitive comfort level. A facilitator ensures that the atmosphere remains relaxed and inclusive. Morning tea and a light snack are provided. New games and activities are introduced monthly to maintain variety.
